Hey all, it has been brought to my attention MANY times that I kinda left you all hanging. Where is Brielle today? How is she developing? What is going on in the life of Brielle Leann Karppinen? Well, I will do my best to cover everything from A-Z.
So, last time I posted, Miss B had just turned 2 years old. She is now a 3 and a half spunky little girl. She is an aunt to a little boy that is a month older than her, but the two of them play so well together and love each other so much! Konnar (my step son) lately has been saying how he wants a baby sister at our house because he loves Brielle so much but we don't always get to meet up with them to play as much as we would like.
Brielle walked down the aisle at my wedding as the flower girl alongside Konnar as the ring bearer. They were so darn cute!! I will post some pictures (if I can remember how to do that on here.... its been a while!).
Brielle sings.... alllll theeee timeee! And it is so adorable! She is going to make the top 10 on American Idol some day. Brielle and Konnar were sleeping in Brielle's room together the other night when we went to visit my dad, and before they fell asleep, they were singing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" together. I can't think of time where she isn't singing some sort of song.
Brielle is still working on potty training, but going #2 in the toilet is easier said than done. With time and practice, it will happen!
I have been told that Miss B has an attitude like her Big Sister (oooops!). A couple of things that come to mind are when she told a kid at daycare to "suck it up Buttercup" and when my dad told her to get a job to pay for the diapers she uses for her baby dolls and she says "YOU GET A JOB" back to him (he travels for work and was home for a little while).
So, as some of you may know, our Grandpa Randy got into a fatal car accident in October of 2017, a month and a half after my wedding. Brielle still talks about Grandpa all the time, she actually just mentioned to me a couple of days ago that our cousins and aunt and uncle live in Grandpa's house. We all miss him so very much, it hurts. R.I.P. G-paw. (I am going to move off of this subject because the point of this blog is to celebrate the accomplishments of Brielle)
Last time I posted, she really wasn't talking much. As I mentioned, she is constantly singing, so her vocabulary has developed quite a bit! Such a little spitfire too! My dad has told me that she is a lot like me too, with the same attention span as me. They get a kick out of it because she will be talking about something and then get distracted by something else which is exactly what I do.
She loves to go fishing, and loves watching for deer, definitely like dad! I also much add that she really loves getting pampered. Manicures and Pedicures are very special for her. She got a manicure a couple weeks ago so the nail polish is almost completely off one hand, but when Konnar was about to run over her nails with a toy, she was very protective over them because "I got a manicure!" She is so funny.
Something about myself, I have now been working as a PCA at the St. Cloud Hospital (where Brielle was born and lived for the first 3 months of her life) since January 2018. I absolutely love it!! My dream job is to work in the NICU there as a nurse. I am currently going to school to make my dream come true.
Also, our brother Dalton has now graduated high school and will be going to college this fall. Way to go Dalton!!! We are proud of you.
Well, I think I about covered as much as I wanted to. My main point to this post was to let all of my viewers know that Brielle is doing great and developing just as she should be! She is skinny minnie, but tall! She is living a normal toddler life, and is going to be just fine!
Thank you all for bearing with me and my taking forever to post updates. I apologize that there are such huge gaps in between. I also apologize, but will be honest with everyone by saying that this will probably be my last post (at least for now) and the years of gaps will continue. We all live busy lives, and this blog just isn't one of my main priories anymore.
So thank you all so much again for reading,
With love always,
Sadie.
